Issues and Publications
The Learning First Alliance addresses timely issues in education policy and practice. We are committed to ensuring that every child achieves high academic standards and enters adulthood with the knowledge, skills, and moral character to be productive citizens. In order to achieve this mission, our work focuses on several key issues and initiatives: improving teaching and learning in the core academic subject matters, fostering safe and supportive learning communities, promoting districtwide improvement, and strengthening support for public education.
Through this work, the Alliance seeks to enrich the national conversation on education, trigger improvements in education policy and practice, and ensure the academic success of all students.
