History:

Formed in 1998, became a member of the LFA state alliance network in 2002.

Description:

The Education Alliance of Michigan (TEAM) is committed to increasing the achievement of all Michigan students through collaborative efforts among all members of the educational community. Working in partnership with the Michigan Foundation for Education Leadership, TEAM sponsors the annual Governor's Education Summit, which brings members of the education community, business and industry, government and the community to confront education needs in Michigan and discuss policy issues.
